What percentage of the U.S. hospitality market is currently using RFID door-locking systems? And where do you foresee this headed in the future?

Doug,
I have not seen any market research on the use of RFID-enabled locks. In my experience, I would say that less than 1 percent of hotel rooms in the United States currently employ RFID-enabled locks. The percentage is higher in Europe and Asia—perhaps 5 percent to 10 percent—and lower in Latin America. I believe that during the next 10 years, most hotels will make the switch.
