I couldn't find an implanted RFID tag on an X-ray. Would it be seen in an MRI scan?

Amy,

RFID tags are not being built into medical implants, so no antenna would be detected by an X-ray or MRI scan. RFID tags are used to track medical implants before they are administered to patients, for the purposes of inventory, recall and expiration tracking, but they are attached to the devices' disposable packaging and, therefore, never end up embedded in patients.
