By Bob Violino
Apr 19, 2004RFID Journal held its second annual executive conference in Chicago from March 29 to March 31. The event was attended by more than 900 people from companies representing large and midsize retailers, distributors and manufacturers, consulting firms and RFID vendors.

This post-conference report includes transcripts of tapes of many of the sessions. We have included most of the presentations for RFID Journal subscribers to download (some speakers requested that we not post their presentations). Please keep in mind that the copyright for these presentations belong to the presenters' companies and reproduction of any part of them, without expressed permission, is prohibited. Also note that some of the files are as large as 7 MB.

The event began with a pre-conference seminar, during which experts from Accenture covered the major issues confronting companies looking to deploy RFID technology. There was also a preconference seminar aimed at bringing the venture capital community up to speed on RFID. The executive conference opened formally on Monday evening, March 29, with a keynote speech by Michael Raynor, co-author of the Innovator's Solution.
