I am unaware of any deployments of radio frequency identification systems at a cable TV head-end or hub site. These sites receive television signals for processing and distribution over a cable TV network. My understanding, which is admittedly limited, is that these sites usually have several large C-band receive-only satellite TV dishes. "C-band" describes the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum in the microwave range of 4.0 GHz to 8.0 GHz. Passive RFID systems operate at much lower frequencies: 128 KHz, 13.56 MHz, and 860 MHz to 960 MHz. These systems should not be impacted by television signals. There are some active RFID systems that operate in the 5 GHz range, though, which would likely be negatively impacted.
