Could an Off-the-Shelf RFID System Meet My Requirements?
What would your recommendation be for an RFID system involving an external antenna requiring an RG58 cable of 35 meters, with input power of 500mW (antenna gain: -1 dbin, impedance: 50ohms, VSWR: less than 1.5:1) and a frequency band of 860 to 900Mhz (UHF)?
There is no off-the-shelf system that would have precisely these attributes, as far as I know. I would suggest you attend our RFID Journal LIVE! 2019 conference and exhibition, which will be held in Phoenix, Ariz., on Apr. 2-4. This event will feature around 200 exhibitors, so you should easily be able to find the components you need, and then compare prices from multiple vendors from around the world, as our exhibitors will hail from 25 different countries.
