Kimberly-Clark, a recognized leader in the usage of RFID, has just concluded a pilot program at one of its non-woven plants. The facility produces material used in the manufacture of Huggies-brand diapers. K-C employed passive RFID tags to track the finished materials as they came off the machine and were shipped to the company’s manufacturing plants. The pilot showed a decrease in shipping errors, as well as a reduction in loading times.
