The Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) Program Office at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is responsible for promoting the use of RFID auto-ID technology in the U.S. Air Force. This presentation will provide an update on the USAF's passive RFID program, with emphasis on employing the technology to support the tracking of critical assets, as well as an integrated approach between passive RFID, bar codes and wireless handheld terminals in base supply.
