RFID frequency band in India

Hello,
Is 13.56 MHz frequency approved as RFID frequency band in India? Do we require to take any permission from DOT, etc. before we start thinking of enabling solutions with RFID hardware?

I know that UHF spectrum is still under consideration, any idea when >= 900MHz will be deregulated for RFID usage?
