Are RFID-enabled paperless offices a realistic goal? - Discussion Wall

Strange Poll

Paperless office = electronic documents....
so how exactly does one attach a physical-world RFID tag to a virtual world electronic document? If someone knows how to put an RFID tag on a pdf doc I would be keen to see the solution. Presumably the inventor can also offer transparent aluminium.

So, the real question is "Are paperless offices a realistic goal?" To which my answer: Partially. RFID-enabled tracking of physical documents could help manage archived hardcopy, e.g. in the Aerospace industry and probably other business areas (legal?) where hardcopy archives are mandated.
