DOD RFID requirements

First, let me explain my situation.

I work for NAC and we are starting a department for government (namely federal) sales. All packages now require RFID tagging (normally passive) for shipments to their depots.

Is there anyone out there that has implemented this system in their warehouses for these purposes and would like to help guide me through the process or provide recommendations where I can get more detailed information on what is needed?
