tags for corrugated cases

The Hide-Pack solution embeds the tag into the case on a folder-gluer. And corrugated supplier Mondi has recently released statements of intent to sell an "intelligent box." Do people know of other solutions such as these? What ever happened to the Smurfit/Texas Instr. project of applying straps to printed antennas? Does anyone know?
