Sam's Club Suppliers, Slow rollout of RFID

We had a similar issue with the roll out of EAN bar code scanning in Ireland. The Irish EAN regulator was set up in 1981. In 1984, the first store introduced scanning. However in 1986 some very large suppliers still had not adapted EAN. Their comment was, " on, we didn't think it was ever going to happen".
