Kevin , i would like to comment your article titled " we built this city on RFID".
It's true that clusters are created to boost RFID development in Europe. Every iniative to help RFID adoption is needed but i submit this question : are we helping the companies that are able to create innovation regarding RFID? What i mean is that we often see the same players involved in those projects that are founded by countries or organizations. I met companies that are struggling to find fundings because they are unaware how to proceed or they found the procees to complex for them. We have created an association for RFID professionals in France to promote the technolgy. We already have 53 members that are integrators, tags and readers manufacturers, software editors... Sometimes, it's easier to count only on us (the rfid community) to promote the technology and then to create an interest from others.
