Asset Tracking - Discussion Wall
RF and satellite are two separate and distinct forms of communication. The ID part of it is another facet of the whole equation. Several options exist in the market and you should have no difficulty finding plenty of material. I work in the Department of Defense and it has been an industry leader in the use of active RFID and we also use satellite devices but on a more limited scale. Check out Savi Inc for more info.
