Where Can I Purchase Inlays to Use Inside a Pack of Cigarettes?

Posted By RFID Journal, 02.10.2012 Post a Comment!

Which vendors would you suggest I consider for such a deployment?

Depending on what exactly you are trying to achieve, you would likely want to use a passive high-frequency (HF) or ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) transponder. Among the major providers of inlays are:

Avery Dennison
Invengo
Smartrac—which recently acquired UPM RFID, Neology and KSW Microtec (see Smartrac Acquires UPM RFID, Becoming a UHF Tag Leader)

In addition, Impinj and NXP Semiconductors manufacture the chips found in many inlays, so they could also likely put you in touch with partners that produce inlays.
