Are Heath-Care RFID Company Ratings Available?

As far as I am aware, there is no objective rating system for firms that provide RFID technology to the health-care market. Different companies produce different solutions.
Ekahau, for instance, offers Wi-Fi-based tracking systems. AwarePoint provides mesh network technologies. Savi and Identec Solutions produce active systems, while others market real-time location systems. Which is best for your specific project depends more on the application, your environment, what you plan to track and so forth, than on the differences between particular companies.
Last year, we published a health-care report that provides some basic information on the different types of RFID systems available, and how they are used in hospitals (see Radio Frequency Identification in Health Care).
