IEEE RFID 2009 Makes Call for Technical Papers
The world's largest RFID technical conference, co-located with RFID Journal LIVE!, is seeking technical papers from authors presenting the latest research, innovations and implementations related to RFID.
Last year, the IEEE held its annual RFID event in conjunction with RFID Journal LIVE! The event was a huge success, and I'm pleased that the organizers of the 2009 International IEEE Conference on RFID (IEEE RFID 2009) have decided to work with us again. The event will be co-located with RFID Journal LIVE! 2009, the world's largest RFID conference and exhibition, to be held in Orlando, Fla., April 27-29, 2009
The organizers have just issued a call for technical papers from authors presenting "the latest research, innovations and implementations related to the theory and practice of RF-based identification and communication systems." Accepted papers will be published by the IEEE and presented at IEEE RFID 2009. The third-annual conference will address the technical and policy challenges of RFID technologies, and feature keynote speakers from RFID thought leaders, panel discussions and presentations on technology advances.
The organizers tell me they are particularly interested in papers related to antennas and propagation; circuits, devices and sensors; communication protocols; security and privacy; system tools; RF-based localization; RFID system architecture; policy and regulatory issues; deployment issues and concerns; and applications.
Authors are invited to submit full eight-page papers in the IEEE conference format (click here to view samples). Submissions must describe original work not previously published, or currently under review for publication in another conference or journal.
Abstract submissions are due by Dec. 1, 2008, and paper submissions by Dec. 5. If your paper is accepted, you will be notified by Feb. 13. Publication-ready papers are due by March 13, 2009.
If you have questions about the submission process, send them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
