Ahmet,

A company called ePix has developed a unique passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) tag that works on bottles of wine and other spirits. The solution, which enables tags to be read from a distance of 30 feet or more, was licensed to r-pac International (see R-pac Releases EPC UHF Label for Spirits, Wine, Cosmetics). I suggest you contact r-pac.

Thin Film Electronics has also introduced a printed Near Field Communication (NFC) tag for bottles (see Thinfilm Launches OpenSense Printed NFC Sensor Label for Bottles). Additionally, the firm has worked with a partner to develop a smartphone solution for authenticating bottles of alcohol and determining if their seal has been broken (see RFID News Roundup: Thinfilm, G World Introduce Smart Wine Bottle Solution). The NFC tags have a shorter read range than the UHF tags from r-pac.
