Where Can I Buy RFID Chips to Put on Labels?
In addition, what machine can I buy to apply a chip to an antenna to create a tag inlay?
The major chip manufacturers for passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) RFID transponders are Alien Technology, EM Microelectronic, Impinj and NXP Semiconductors. EM Microelectronic and NXP also offer passive high-frequency (HF) chips. You should contact these companies and talk to their salespeople about buying chips. You will also need to purchase or manufacture antennas. Mühlbauer AG, in Germany, sells machines that will place a chip on an antenna to create an inlay.
