What Is the Difference Between "RFID" and "RFID Technology"?
In many articles, RFID Journal refers to RFID technology or techonologies. How does that differ from radio frequency identification?
I guess it is just a question of semantics, but in my mind, radio frequency identification is a concept, like networking or computing. We often use the term "RFID technologies" to refer to the hardware and software that allows you to collect data. It's akin to using the phrase "networking technologies" to refer to routers and switches.
