How Can We Track Tractors?

Posted By RFID Journal, 07.02.2015

Do you know of any companies that offer a solution for RFID-tagging tractor units and trailers—something similar to what Nisa used back in 2006, and based in the United Kingdom?>

Nisa used a hybrid active and passive RFID system to keep track of trailers in a distribution yard (see Nisa-Today's DC Uses RFID to Secure Trailers). There are a number of companies that offer an active solution that would work for this application, including Identec Solutions and Zebra Technologies. PINC Solutions and Mojix also offer passive solutions that might meet your needs.
