Is It Possible for an RFID Tag to Issue More Than a Pulse?
Or is it limited to just the pulse?
I am not sure I understand the question. RFID tags don't issue a pulse. Active tags broadcast a radio signal, much like a cell phone. The radio waves emitted from an active tag carry a serial number and perhaps some additional data about the object or container on which it has been placed. A passive tag uses energy from a reader antenna to reflect back a signal to that antenna. Active and passive tags can have sensors added to them so they can transmit, for example, temperature data. Tags could be linked to LEDs and light up, but I am unsure if this is the kind of thing you are looking for.
