Are Any Tags Specifically Designed for Garment Dyeing?
What is the best UHF RFID tag to employ in a high-temperature garment-dyeing machine?
I am unaware of any passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) RFID tag specifically designed to be used in a garment-dyeing machine. That being said, HID Global's LinTag could work for you (see HID Global Intros RFID Tag for Tracking Linens and Garments, New Microsoft Authentication Solution). It is highly robust, and there is a version that can be directly stitched on linen and then be easily removed, if necessary, by cutting the stitching strings. HID also offers SlimFlex tags, which might work (see HID Global Expands SlimFlex RFID Tag Family). Other options include UHF laundry tags, such as GAO RFID's Laundry Tag 116413, William Frick and Co.'s Silicone RFID Laundry Tag and Fujitsu's WT-A522 RFID Laundry Tag.
