What Would a Hospital's Initial Cost Be for an RFID-based Laundry-Management System?
How much would the technology cost to implement?
It would impossible to answer this question without having a lot more information, such as how many items are going to be washed and tracked annually, how many laundry areas there are within your facility, and so forth. How the system is set up will determine where you need to install readers and how many you require. Generally speaking, newer ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) systems are less expensive than older high-frequency (HF) solutions.
Here is a link to a Premium Content article that we published about laundry-management solutions: Coming Clean About RFID Laundry Systems. I would suggest contacting the companies mentioned in this article to get a quote.
