Can iPhone Bluetooth Work With Passive RFID?
Is this technologically possible?
It depends on what you mean by "work with."
If you're asking if an iPhone can read a passive RFID tag with Bluetooth capability, the answer is no. It would be like trying to pick up an FM radio station on a cordless phone. Just because both use radio waves doesn't mean the they can work together.
On the other hand, if you're asking if you can interrogate RFID tags via a passive reader and transfer the data via Bluetooth to an app running on an iPhone, the answer is yes. There are a number of Bluetooth-enabled RFID readers currently on the market, in fact.
