How Much Power Does a Passive RFID Tag Consume?
How much power is consumed when reading a high-frequency (HF) passive RFID tag measuring 1 centimeter by 1 centimeter (0.4 inch by 0.4 inch) within a distance of 2 meters (6.6 feet)?
To be honest, I don't know. Perhaps one of our readers can answer this question. My guess is that the amount of power could vary quite a bit, depending on the amount of data being transferred.
