How Can I Protect My RFID Card from Theft?
Is there any way to prevent my credit card number from being stolen?
Transponders in credit cards are designed to be read from only a few inches way, and there is no evidence that anyone has ever had their credit card number stolen in this way. But if you are concerned about it, wrap the card in aluminum foil (the kind used to keep your food fresh in the refrigerator).
