RFID Journal offers an RFID Essentials online learning course that explains the basics of the technology and how it is used by businesses. RFID Journal also offers RFID Journal University at our annual RFID Journal LIVE! conference and exhibition. This preconference seminar explains the physics of RFID, the differences between active, passive and battery-assisted tags, the components of an RFID system, standards and more. RFID Journal Premium Members can view recordings from LIVE! 2014 in our video library. These include sessions titled "RFID Basics," "The Physics Behind RFID," "Legislation and Standardization," "Real-World Considerations" and "Building an RFID Business Case." Another option is the book RFID for Dummies.
