Which U.S. Airports Use RFID for Baggage Handling?
Are a lot of facilities in the United States embracing the technology?
Currently, McCarran International Airport is the only U.S. airport using RFID for baggage handling (see Las Vegas Airport Bets on RFID, McCarran Airport RFID System Takes Off and McCarran International Airport Expands Its RFID Baggage-Handling System). Pilots have been carried out, however, at San Francisco International Airport (see San Francisco Airport OKs RFID Bag-Tracking Pilot).
