Can UHF Readers Interrogate Both HF and UHF Tags?

Is it possible to have one unit read tags from both frequency ranges?

An ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) reader cannot interrogate a high-frequency (HF) tag unless it also has an HF reader built into it. That's sort of like asking if an AM radio can play FM stations.
