When Will We Have RFID Chips in Our Hands?

If you are asking when newborns will be required to have an RFID transponder implanted in their bodies, I hope that will never happen. I really see no value in it, and it would be of little help to governments in tracking people, since implantable chips have a read range of only a couple inches.

Of course, Skynet might have other ideas...
