Can Active Tags Switch Data With Each Other?
And can that information be collected on flash memory?
Conventional active radio frequency identification transponders either awaken and send their signal to one reader, or broadcast a signal that is picked up by several readers, and that information is then used to locate the tag within a coverage area. So they cannot send information to each other. There are, however, mesh-networking devices that communicate via radio frequency that can transmit information from node to node, and that information is then transmitted to a host system. These devices do not typically have flash memory, so they would need to be customized for your particular application.
