Ask The Experts Forum
From Whom Can We Purchase ALE 1.1 Middleware?
Is there a list of products available online?
ALE, short for Application Level Events, is a GS1 Electronic Product Code (EPC) standard that spells out the "software interface through which client applications may interact with filtered, consolidated EPC data and related data from a variety of sources." You can read a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page about ALE at GS1's Web site. GS1 also publishes a list of products that have been certified as ALE 1.1-compliant, which can be found here.
