How Long Does It Take to Deploy RFID?

It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. A simple application for tagging reusable containers could probably be deployed within two weeks. However, an enterprise-level RFID platform that can be used to track every moveable asset—raw materials, work in process, finished goods, tools, jigs, vehicles, data-center servers, laptops and so forth—could take years to deploy and would best be carried out in several stages.
