The Logistics Challenge That Is RFID Journal LIVE!
Post a Comment!Each year, I am amazed at the effort that goes into putting on RFID Journal LIVE!
It's not just all the things we do, such as recruiting speakers and marketing the event. It's also all the work that our exhibitors, Digital Blue Global (our audio-visual company), as well as the registration services providers and others do to make the show run smoothly.
I have no idea how many boxes were shipped to the Venetian hotel this year, but it might be somewhere around 100,000. This includes all the booths, the equipment that goes into the booths, the computers for registration, the A/V speakers, lights and so forth.
This year, I brought along my own digital camera and snapped some photos of the event during set-up. I thought I would share them with those of you who have never seen the other side of a big conference and exposition.
