The inaugural event will highlight how companies across the South American nation and around the world are benefiting from RFID technologies.

RFID Journal announced today that it will host RFID Journal LIVE! Brasil, its first event in Brazil, on Nov. 29-30, 2012, at Espaco APAS-Centro de Convencoes, in São Paulo. The conference and exhibition will focus on how radio frequency identification technologies are being employed across the nation, and around the world, to reduce costs and improve the way companies do business.

"We are thrilled to be hosting an event in Brazil, where we have many readers of both our English- and Portuguese-language Web sites," says Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor. "There will be many great case studies that will showcase how RFID technologies are delivering business value today."

This unique event, produced by RFID Journal in partnership with Hewlett-Packard, will showcase leading end users presenting powerful real-world case studies. These presentations, offered in Portuguese, will highlight how businesses are utilizing RFID, and where they are achieving real benefits today.

The content is designed to educate leading end users interested in deploying RFID solutions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the leading technology companies, and to view their latest solutions. The event is cornerstone-sponsored by Hewlett-Packard and silver-sponsored by Prime Interway, a Brazil-based distributor of automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) and enterprise-mobility products. Exhibitors include Impinj, a supplier of RFID chips, readers and reader antennas; Mühlbauer, a provider of solutions for RFID inlay production, label insertion/conversion, and inlay testing and personalization; Tageos, a designer and manufacturer of passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) RFID labels across various industry segments; and Voyantic, a provider of RFID testing and measurement solutions.
