The conference will highlight how companies across Latin America are using RFID technology to improve their operations and bottom line.

RFID Journal announced today that registration is now open for RFID Journal LIVE! LatAm 2012. This conference and exhibition will focus on how radio frequency identification technology has been deployed at leading companies across all industries in Latin America. The event, offering presentations both in English and in Spanish, will take place on Nov. 8-9 at the Hotel Emperador, located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Businesses and organizations around the region are employing RFID to track assets, manage inventories and improve customer service. This year's conference, produced by RFID Journal in partnership with LOGyCA, will highlight how companies are utilizing RFID, and where they are achieving real benefits today. Attendees will also have the opportunity to see demonstrations of some of the latest RFID innovations.

The event will feature RFID Journal University, RFID Journal's most popular preconference seminar. This preconference, open to professionals across all industries, is designed to provide those new to radio frequency identification with the foundational knowledge necessary to begin understanding how the technology can be applied to solve specific business problems. Attendees will also learn how to choose the correct option for a particular application, and how to select the proper vendors to achieve a successful outcome.

"This is our third annual event in Latin America," says Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor. "We believe that businesses across Argentina and around the region will benefit from the new end-user case studies being featured this year."
