RFID Journal LIVE! 2012 to Host Auto-ID, French, Korean, Retail Apparel Pavilions
The four pavilions will showcase specific solutions providers on the show floor at RFID Journal's 10th annual conference and exhibition.
Mar 19, 2012—RFID Journal announced today that it will feature four technology solutions pavilions on the show floor at RFID Journal LIVE! 2012, its 10th annual conference and exhibition focused on radio frequency identification and its many business applications.
This year's LIVE! event will be held on Apr. 3-5, 2012, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort, located in Orlando, Fla. The four pavilions to be showcased are:
• The AIM AIDC Pavilion, featuring solutions providers offering bar-code, RFID and other automatic-identification solutions
• The French Pavilion, showcasing leading RFID companies from France
• The Korean Pavilion, presenting leading RFID firms from South Korea
• The Retail Apparel Pavilion, highlighting businesses focused primarily on RFID solutions for tracking apparel, jewelry and other items
"These pavilions provide additional value to attendees, who can find solutions from Korea and France," says Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor. "We also believe that our attendees are interested in other auto-ID technologies that they can now see exhibited at the AIM Pavilion. And retail and apparel companies moving forward with item-level tracking will benefit from visiting the Retail Apparel Pavilion." This will be the fifth year that RFID Journal LIVE! has hosted the Korean Pavilion, the second year for the French Pavilion and the first for the other two pavilions (see RFID Journal LIVE! 2011 to Feature Pavilion of French RFID Companies).
"This is an incredible opportunity for AIM to host an integrated pavilion demonstrating a wide range of automatic-identification and mobility solutions, including RFID," says Chuck Evanhoe, the chairman of AIM's board of directors.
LIVE! 2012 will feature four industry-specific and four level-of-expertise conference tracks, as well as eight in-depth preconference seminars and workshops, fast-track training, the RFID Journal Awards and two co-located events: IEEE RFID 2012 and The AIDC 100: RFID and Bar-Code Co-existence. What's more, the conference will offer exhibits and demonstrations conducted by the industry's leading technology firms.
