RFID Journal Launches Solutions Showcase

By Admin

To highlight rapidly evolving RFID solutions, the company will hold a live 30-minute presentation by one RFID technology vendor every Friday at 2 pm Eastern time.

RFID Journal announced today that it is launching Solutions Showcase, a live, interactive feature on its Web site designed to highlight rapidly evolving RFID hardware and software solutions. Beginning next month, a new Solutions Showcase presentation will be held live every Friday at 2 pm Eastern time. The initial topics will be as follows:

• June 11: Motorola's MC-3090-Z handheld RFID interrogator

• June 18: Zebra Enterprise Solutions' Material Flow Replenishment solution

• June 25: ODIN's Intelligent Asset Management system

"RFID solutions are evolving rapidly, and many end users are unaware of the benefits they can deliver," says Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor. "We believe that our readers will benefit from hearing about specific solutions, so we are inviting vendors to provide short demonstrations or PowerPoint presentations explaining how their solution works, and the business benefits it delivers."

Each Solutions Showcase presentation will last 30 minutes, and if there is sufficient time, the presenters will answer questions from the live audience—similar to a webinar. The entire session will be recorded, and will be archived on RFID Journal's Web site, so visitors can search for solutions that might meet their needs.

"Our readers understand that RFID tags work, and that the technology can collect data automatically and reliably," Roberti says. "Now they want to understand what solutions are available to solve their business problems. We believe this feature will be a valued addition to our already robust Web site."
