Catalyst/Babush Joint Testing Facility Opens Next Week
Next week will see the grand opening of a Wisconsin-based RFID testing facility operated by Catalyst International and Babush Materials Handling Systems.

December 1, 2004—The grand opening of a 3,200-square-foot RFID testing facility is scheduled for this Tuesday. A joint initiative between Milwaukee-based warehouse management systems provider Catalyst International and material handling specialist Babush, the "Star Alliance Center" is located at Babush's headquarters in Sussex, Wisconsin. The center's goal is more than compliance testing; it aims to help companies derive supplemental operational efficiencies from their RFID implementations. Says Catalyst's RFID project manager Larry Cinpinski, "The center is intended to show customers how they can not only meet the mandate appropriately, but also give them some operational benefits."
