Victoria makes RFID move

August 12, 2004—The government of Victoria has allocated $100,000 to found "Vic RFID Action," an organization which will develop and promote the state's nascent RFID industry by representing RFID providers at trade shows and lobbying standards groups on the local industry's behalf.
