Microsoft Adding RFID Support To Windows Server Software

July 13, 2004—Microsoft continues to expand integration of RFID into its products. A senior VP of the software giant's server platform division said Monday that the BizTalk Server was being RFID enabled. Even more compelling, the company is also considering adding RFID capabilities to Windows itself, a move that would vault RFID into the end-user mainstream.
