July 6, 2004—A comprehensive new report entitled "RFID 2003" has been released by research company High Impact. According to the company's web site, the report "is a 750+ page blockbuster report that captures and analyzes the substance of RFID patents issued before December 31, 2003." More than 4300 patents are listed in total. The entire report sells for $2400 on High Impact's website, where the table of contents can be viewed as well.
