Delta, Boeing to Test RFID on Engine Parts

June 7, 2004—RFID use in the airline industry continues to heat up with both Delta and Boeing announcing their intention to track aircraft parts using the technology. Also this week, the Global Aviation RFID Forums get off the ground in Atlanta, where RFID standardization between suppliers and airlines will be discussed.
