DoD Pumps Up RFID Effort

April 26, 2004—U.S. Department of Defense suppliers should expect to see a new clause in their contracts soon that require the use of radio frequency identification technology. Making RFID tagging a contractual term is a key step in the Defense Department's RFID adoption schedule.
