Sep 13, 2016RFID Journal announced today that it will hold its RFID in Aerospace and Defense 2016 conference and exhibition on Oct. 20 at the Long Beach Convention Center, located in California. The one-day event will also feature fast-track RFID training on Oct. 19, provided by RFID4U.
As news of RFID adoption continues to accelerate in these sectors, RFID in Aerospace and Defense aims to help companies comply with customer requirements and use the technology internally to achieve significant benefits.
"RFID is delivering real value, not just to Boeing, Airbus and the U.S. Department of Defense, but to their suppliers as well," says Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor. "This event offers a unique opportunity for companies being asked to tag parts and shipments to learn how they can benefit from RFID internally."
Case studies presented by Delta Air Lines, the U.S. Air Force, Northrop Grumman and other companies already using RFID will help attendees determine the best technology for their needs and learn best practices from early adopters.
The event will feature an advanced, one-day fast-track training course on Oct. 19, presented by RFID4U, which will combine lectures and hands-on lab exercises. The course will prepare participants for the RFID Professional Institute Certified Associate exam. An exam voucher to take one test online is included with the training.
