Leaders Representing Retail and Apparel Industries to Discuss RFID's Benefits at RFID Journal LIVE! 2016
Executives from lululemon athletica, Levi Strauss & Co., Macy's, Marks & Spencer, Sport Zone and other companies will share deployment lessons and strategies.
Mar 31, 2016—
RFID Journal announced today that key leaders from the retail and apparel sectors will discuss the benefits that they are achieving from using radio frequency identification technology, at this year's RFID Journal LIVE! conference and exhibition, which will be held on May 3-5, at the Orange County Convention Center, located in Orlando, Fla. The event will provide an opportunity for retail and apparel companies to hear first-hand about the most important deployments in these sectors, and to find the solutions that meet their business needs.
Retail and apparel companies have been among the early adopters of RFID technologies, both internally and within their shared supply chains. End users of RFID will be featured in a Retail/Apparel track, as well as in an Item-Level Retail and Apparel Workshop—a preconference seminar explaining how to deploy RFID in stores, warehouses and manufacturing facilities, and how to achieve real-world benefits today.
Among the sessions to be featured at LIVE! 2016 will be:
Herman Kay Uses RFID to Track and Improve Garment Production
Sport Zone Uses RFID for Higher Stock Accuracy
Decathlon Uses RFID to Increase Sales and Reduce Shrinkage
This year's event will feature four industry tracks covering aerospace and defense, retail and apparel, health care and pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Other tracks will cover the use of RFID for supply chain and logistics operations, and for payments and authentication; the technology and infrastructure required for RFID data collection; and innovative uses of RFID.
LIVE! 2016 will also feature seven in-depth preconference seminars and workshops, four post-conference seminars, fast-track training provided by RFID4U, RFID Professional Institute certification, the RFID Journal Awards and three co-located events (IEEE RFID 2016, the Internet of Things Conference and the Last Mile Consortia Forum). In addition, the event will offer exhibits and demonstrations conducted by the industry's leading technology firms.
