Submissions are now being accepted, with winners to be announced in April at RFID Journal LIVE! 2015.
Nov 26, 2014—
RFID Journal announced today that it is accepting submissions for the 2015 RFID Journal Awards, which will recognize companies and organizations that have distinguished themselves by their successful use of RFID or the introduction of a valuable new RFID product or service.
RFID Journal's editors have selected an independent panel of judges to evaluate entries and choose next year's winners. The 2015 awards will be given in eight categories:
Best Internet of Things Deployment
Best RFID Implementation
Best Use of RFID to Enhance a Product or Service
Most Innovative Use of RFID
Best NFC Deployment
RFID Green Award
Best New Product
Special Achievement Award
Awards submissions are due no later than Jan. 30, 2015. There is no cost to submit an entry. Winners will receive their awards at RFID Journal LIVE!, and will be featured in RFID Journal's digital magazine.
"The awards have been a great success, with many top-notch entries and intense competition," says Mark Roberti, RFID Journal's founder and editor. "With RFID on the cusp of broad adoption, this is a great time to be recognized for an outstanding RFID project. It's certainly going to be a career enhancer."
RFID Journal has held its annual awards program for the past nine years. Winners in 2014 included Bechtel, Hy-Vee, Marks & Spencer, NXP Semiconductors and Post Foods.
