RFID Journal LIVE! 2011 Report, Part 2
Approximately 2,500 industry professionals gathered in April at RFID Journal's ninth annual conference and exhibition, to learn from organizations using RFID to improve their operations. View the presentations from the event's main conference-track sessions, as well as the solution-provider sessions, the RFID in Apparel Workshop and a co-located event, The Internet of Things.
May 16, 2011—Companies in many industries are working to reduce costs, boost efficiencies and enhance customer service using radio frequency identification. At RFID Journal LIVE! 2011—RFID Journal 's ninth annual conference and exhibition, held last month in Orlando, Fla.—visitors attended presentations from leading end-user businesses and organizations regarding new applications for RFID, in order to learn how to overcome implementation challenges and achieve business benefits.
This year's LIVE! event featured five industry-specific conference tracks (Aviation/Aerospace, Defense/Security, Health Care/Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing/Operations and Retail/Apparel) and three level-of-expertise tracks (How to Deploy RFID, Supply Chain/Logistics, and Visibility and Traceability). In addition, the conference included two co-located events (IEEE RFID 1011 and The Internet of Things).
Last week, inRFID Journal 's online video library, we posted recordings of LIVE! 2011's keynotes, general sessions and preconference seminars, as well as this year's RFID Journal Award winners (see RFID Journal LIVE! 2011 Report, Part 1). This week, we continue highlighting the event with presentations from the main conference-track sessions, as well as the solution-provider sessions and the RFID in Apparel Workshop.
