RFID Journal LIVE! Europe Report

More than 400 people gathered in Amsterdam to listen to early adopters explain how they are benefiting from RFID today, and to hear leading experts discuss the issues facing companies adopting EPC technologies in Europe at RFID Journal LIVE! Europe. View the presentations from the event.

Oct. 31, 2005—RFID Journal's first executive conference for the European market, RFID Journal LIVE! Europe, was held Oct. 10-12 at the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam. This followed on the success of RFID Journal LIVE! 2005, held in Chicago in April.

The Euro conference was attended by more than 400 professionals from large and midsize retailers, distributors and manufacturers, consulting firms, systems integrators and RFID vendors.

RFID Journal LIVE! Europe was a great success with attendees and presenters alike.

The event began with two preconferences, one aimed at helping institutional investors understand the RFID landscape and the other providing background information on what RFID is, how it works and the standards and regulatory environments around the world.

During the main conference, representatives from companies such as Volvo, pH Europe and Worldwide Fruit presented case studies revealing how they are using RFID today to cut costs, improve supply chain efficiencies and better serve their customers. Other sessions focused on the special challenges facing companies deploying RFID and EPC technologies in Europe.

The following pages contain links to most of the presentations given throughout the conference, posted in PDF format with the presenters' permission. Please note that not all speakers have opted to have us post their presentations. We ask that you please respect the presenters' copyrights and not use any material without permission.
